Coal is booming around the world. China gets 70% of its total energy from coal. Germany is opening new coal plants. UK is using more coal, where coal is displacing expensive gas. Yet, some environmentalists insist on attacking and distorting gas. If those attacks are successful, the result is more coal and oil and more global carbon emissions. As we are seeing. Putting self-righteous assertions aside and looking at the impact of real positions raises questions about who is on the side of stabilizing emissions and who is on the side of more coal and oil use.
